This presentation is for counselors, and it will provide the participant an introductory understanding of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), also known as domestic violence (DV), and create more successful treatment outcomes.
This presentation was developed for counselors. The presentation will primarily focus on working with victims/survivors of domestic violence. This presentation will provide the participant with definitions related to domestic violence (DV), including what domestic violence is, what a victim/survivor is, what an abuser is, and the different types of abuse.
This was developed for the Pueblo Mentoring Collaborative. It is a free presentation that will primarily focus on managing expectations when working with youth.
